On September 25th around 9am , our beloved friend and dance community member Nguyen Phuong Anh To “Toph” was illegally abducted by ICE at LAX. Toph was flying to Miami for a conference & ICE approached her while she was getting coffee prior to boarding.

Anyone that is lucky enough to know Toph knows that she is such a light to many, a one of a kind soul and all around amazing human. Toph is a treasured part of Midwest, NY and LA dance community and is a huge part of so many people’s life.

My name is Iman Brooks , I am a close friend of Toph, and we are raising money to pay for immigration fees, filing fees, bond, commissary funds, and any other legal needs for Toph while she is in detainment and going through the immigration process. Any remaining money will go towards post-detention care (i.e. housing, food, etc.).

With the consent of Tophs parents in Vietnam all funds will go directly from this GoFundMe to her best friend and roommate, Megan Corey , bank account as expenses arise to support Toph through this process.

Please share, repost, and amplify so we can support our dear friend during this horrible time and get her home.
