Victor is starting this fundraiser for his auntie, Marta, during an incredibly painful and uncertain time for their family. Marta went to a USCIS biometrics appointment at the Gardena USCIS center, expecting a routine step in the process. After she arrived and was seated in a room, she was seen on video being detained by ICE and taken away shortly afterward. Since then, Victor and the family have been left heartbroken, worried, and unsure of what comes next or how long Marta may be detained. 
 
 
 This support will help Marta with the bills and other expenses that will continue coming due while she is detained. It will also help provide stability during this time of uncertainty, especially since Marta may lose the job she worked so hard to get. Victor is asking for prayers for Marta and for the whole family as they try to navigate this devastating situation and work to bring her home.
