<div>Most of the people here will know me ... I'm Sam Borowski and I make films. However, unlike a Marvel Film or a Sci-Fi Epic, today's story requires no suspension of disbelief. It's not based on a true story, but rather <em>it is </em>a true story.

<div>It's the story of my dear friend and brother, Stephen Hart, who I've known half my life. Some of the best memories - and times - I've had revolve around Steve. We sat together in the old Shea Stadium on a chilly October Sunday, as Robin Ventura belted "The Grand Slam Single," to beat the Atlanta Braves and force a Game 6 in the NL Championship. We've gone to countless movies together and Steve has hosted several Oscar Parties at his house; a treasure-trove of Entertainment and Sports Memorabilia.

<div>And Steve himself is a vast encyclopedia of sports and entertainment knowledge. He's definitely the guy you want as your partner in Trivial Pursuit! He is Uber-Creative and even came up with words to the Jurassic Park theme: <em>"It is cold and dark in Jurassic Park."</em>

<div>Sing it to the movie's theme and it will be stuck in your head all night. Much like Steve's friendship.

<div>Once you got a taste of it, it stuck with you. That's because, he was not only fun to be around, but generous to a fault. If he was your friend, there isn't anything he wouldn't do for you.

<div>Well, now it's time for ALL OF US to give back. Steve is battling a most hated villain - worse than Thanos or any other Marvel bad guy - Cancer. Not only are the medical bills racking up, but if he is fortunate enough to get out of the hospital, special arrangements may need to be made. If he doesn't, other arrangements will have to be dealt with.

<div>There's no doubt that Steve touched everyone he came in contact with. Call him Staten Island's own George Bailey. And so now, I Am asking ALL who loved him to give back a little - whatever your conscience moves you to.
