<div>Op 24 juni 2026 werd het noorden van Venezuela getroffen door twee zware aardbevingen. In enkele seconden verloren duizenden mensen hun huis, hun veiligheid en in veel gevallen ook hun dierbaren. Vooral gemeenschappen in La Guaira, Caracas en omliggende regio’s zijn zwaar getroffen.

<div>Volgens de meest recente berichtgeving (29 juni 2026) zijn minstens <strong>1.450 mensen omgekomen, zijn meer dan 3.100 mensen gewond</strong> <strong>geraakt </strong>en worden nog steeds duizenden mensen vermist. Achter elk cijfer schuilt een familie, een verhaal en een leven dat plots volledig is veranderd.
