Honor Coach Tony's 46 Years at Texas A&M Lacrosse
Donation protected
Howdy!
On February 22nd, forty-six years of Texas A&M lacrosse players will descend upon College Station to celebrate the retirement of Coach Tony Scazzero. We look forward to an evening of great fellowship amongst old teammates, sharing stories, and most importantly, celebrating Coach, a man that gave 46 tremendous years to Texas A&M Lacrosse.
For the past six months, our committee has been working tirelessly to ensure Coach and Sue Ann receive the heartfelt send-off they deserve. As many of you know, Coach dedicated decades to the program without compensation—only in the last ten years did he receive a modest stipend, far below what other MCLA coaches earn. Given his unwavering commitment, we are asking all former players to consider making a monetary personal gift as a retirement gift for Coach and Sue Ann.
We encourage you to give what you can, keeping in mind the impact Texas A&M Lacrosse had on your life and the sacrifices Coach made to keep the team competitive, organized, and thriving.
Our Goal: $50,000+ with a Stretch Goal of $100,000!
We can reach this milestone together! Contributions can be made through our GoFundMe page, and on the night of the celebration, we’ll present Coach and Sue Ann with a ceremonial check reflecting the total raised.
This appeal is being sent to all former players, not just those attending the celebration. Please spread the word to your teammates, parents, and friends of Aggie Lacrosse. Let’s show our appreciation for Coach in a big way!
⚠️ This is a surprise! Please be mindful when sharing—avoid public forums where Coach or Sue Ann might see it.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the game vs. t.u. on Friday, February 21st, and celebrating together on Saturday, February 22nd.
